Charles John Roth

July 15, 1922 — August 5, 2010

Charles John Roth, age 88, of Edgewood, MD, died on August 5, 2010 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Charles Joseph and Catherine Josephine Donhauser Roth and husband of the late Vivian Marguerite Roth. A decorated veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country during WWII. He was a devoted family man and had worked in the printing business as a lithographer. A member of the NRA, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, and he loved to play chess.

Mr. Roth is survived by his daughter, Georgianna Hammond of Baltimore, MD; brothers, Robert Roth of Abingdon, MD, John Roth of Fullerton, MD, George Roth of Forest Hill, MD; sister, Rose Marie Mangano of Baltimore, MD; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; loving neighbors; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his daughters, Patricia A. Terrell and Catherine E. Roth; and brothers, Carroll and Raymond Roth.
