Charles Jackson

Charles Jackson, age 71, of Belcamp, Maryland passed away on September 11, 2021 at his home. Born in Bel Air, Maryland, he was the son of Charles James and Amanda Elizabeth (Spurlin) Jackson and husband of Phyllis Marie (DeHaven) Jackson. He was a veteran of the U.S. military and a former member of American Legion Post #17 in Edgewood. Charles and Phyllis would have celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary on September 19, 2021. He worked for over 20 years for the former Belco Products as a machine operator. Charles loved to crab, fish and spend time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by his daughter, Denise A. Speckman of Abingdon; grandchildren, Gregory and David Speckman; great-grandson, James Speckman; brother, James Jackson; and four sisters, Amanda, Linda, Janet, Sherry.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Lloyd Dean Jackson.
