Charles H. Sibley Jr.

CHARLES H. SIBLEY JR., age 91, of Churchville, MD, died on May 17, 2008 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Charles Howard and Carrie Louisville Bowen Sibley and husband of the late Anna Rachel Stone Sibley. He retired 23 years ago from Grinnell Sprinkler Company where he worked as a welder, and before that, he was self-employed in his own business "Charles H. Sibley Welding". He enjoyed fishing, hunting, photography, reading, traveling, NASCAR, and his dog, Toby. He loved to sing and found a special song for each situation, and adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mr. Sibley is survived by two daughters, Joanie Favazza of Churchville, MD and Joy Hook of Elkton, MD; four grandchildren, Tim Favazza of Bel Air, MD, John Favazza of Annapolis, MD, Kim Hook of Elkton, MD, and T.C. Hook of Rising Sun, MD; and nine great-grandchildren, Michael and Jacob Hook of Rising Sun, MD, Rachel, Megan, Brittany and Maddie Favazza of Bel Air, MD, and Sam, Abby, and Elizabeth Favazza of Annapolis, MD. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by a daughter, June Sibley and five siblings.
