Charles H. Creswell, age 94, of Bel Air, MD passed away on October 25, 2018 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Charles was born in Joppa, MD to Henry Russell and Mary Ellen (McCann) Creswell on October 20, 1924. He is survived by his loving wife M. Linda (Preston) Creswell; daughters, Sandra (Carter) Davidson, Carol (Dan) DiPeppe, Nancy Markline and Jane (Patrick) O'Neill; sons, Rusty (Kate) Creswell and Philip Creswell; and step-children Melissa Smith and Jon Eikenberg, Jr. Combined twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Bertice R. Creswell and one grandson. Charles was a graduate of Bel Air High School class of 1941. He started working at Aberdeen Proving Ground until enlisting in the U.S. Marine Corp during WWII. Returning home he developed his career with Bell Atlantic – C&P Telephone Co. Retiring as a Trouble Shooter after 39 years of service. Simultaneously managing his small farm, being a charter member of Churchville Ruritan Club since October, 1964, and assisting with local sports teams for children. He got his real estate license and worked a short time for J. Vernon Hall, Inc. In his spare time he loved to boat, crab, travel, anything to do with horses, and be with family and friends.
