Charles Evans Beall

February 14, 1945 — May 31, 2009

Charles "Charlie" Evans Beall, age 64, of Whiteford, MD, passed away May 31, 2009 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (nee Peak) Beall. A lifelong resident of Harford County, he was the son of the late Alexander and Margaret (nee Bailey) Beall.

Charlie was employed for many years in the Parts Department of Plaza Ford and for many years, most recently, as a truck driver at Natural Animal Nutrition. A 1963 graduate of Bel Air High School, he served his country in the Naval Reserves during the Vietnam War. He was an active member of the Slate Ridge American Legion Post #182.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Christopher, daughter-in-law, Roni, and grandson, Kyle, of Delta, PA; sisters, Sandra Beall Krass of Aberdeen, MD, Norma Beall Hubard of Knoxville, TN; nephews Todd Grubb, Jason Peak, Jonathan Krass, and Ben Hubard; and nieces, Andrea Travers, Alison Erdely, Alicia Peak LaRue, and Ariane Grubb.

Pallbearers will be Ray Dalton, Greg Waters, Rob Kahn, David Bostick, Jason Peak, and Todd Grubb. Honorary pall bearers will be Jonathan Krass, Alicia Peak LaRue, Ariane Grubb, Andrea Travers, Alison Erdely, and Ben Hubard.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 11350 McCormick Rd., Executive Plaza III, Suite 100, Hunt Valley, MD 21031 or the American Lung Association of MD, Executive Plaza 1, Suite 600, 11350 McCormick Rd., Hunt Valley, MD 21031.
