Charles E. Jagdman Sr., age 83, of Bel Air, MD, went home to be with the Lord on June 8, 2014 at Perry Point VA Hospital in Perryman, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Harry Edward and Alta Nacomis Harbough Jagdman. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served our country during the Korean War and after 20 years, retired from the Navy Reserves. He was a member of the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He considered it an honor to serve his country and was proud to be an American. He worked as a technician for Baltimore Gas and Electric, attended Mt. Zion United Methodist Church where he taught Sunday school and also lead the Youth Group in the late 1960's and early 1970's, and was a Cub Scout and Boy Scout Leader. He loved to camp and fish, but most of all he loved the Lord Jesus and secondly his family and his dogs.
Mr. Jagdman is survived by his wife of 58 years, Harriett "Gene" Jagdman of Bel Air, MD; sons, Chuck Jagdman and Brian Jagdman and his wife, Laura, all of Bel Air, MD; daughter, Doris Gill and her husband, Donny, of Abingdon, MD; grandchildren, Christian, Noah and Josiah Jagdman, Cheryl Wood and Jay Gill; and four great-grandchildren, Adam Gill, Aiden Gill, Lexi Wood and Ken Wood II.
