Charles E. Hawkins Sr.

Charles E. Hawkins Sr., age 71, of Edgewood, Maryland passed away on May 4, 2021 at Gilchrist Hospice in Towson, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Alfred Charles and Mabel Arnold (Ferguson) Hawkins and husband of the late Georgia A. (Valentine) Hawkins. In his younger years, Charles enjoyed getting outdoors to tend to his garden and landscape his yard. In more recent years he loved spending time playing cards with his friends and spending time at the American legion listening to music. Above all else, Charles cherished his time with his family and friends.

Charles is survived by his son, Brian Hawkins, and his wife, Stephanie; sister, Patricia A. Rock and her husband, Ken; Fiancée, Sandy Stansbury; also survived by a niece, nephews and a great niece and nephew.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Charles Edward Hawkins, Jr.
