Charles '' Derb'' C. Derby

CHARLES “DERB” C. DERBY, age 81, of Bel Air, MD, died on December 2, 2007 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Saratoga Springs, NY, he was the son of the late Thomas Nathan and Eva F. Taylor Derby. He retired from the U. S. Navy with 20 years of service then went on to work as a personnel officer for the U.S. Navy, Government Edgewood Area, retiring after 19 years of service.

Mr. Derby is survived by his wife of 47 years, Marian R. Kilduff Derby of Bel Air, MD; two sons, Michael C. Derby and his wife, Alisa, of Houston, TX and William T. Derby and his wife, Erika, of Bel Air, MD; two daughters, Carol A. Derby Gauthier and her husband, Michel, of Alexandria, VA and Susan E. Derby and her husband, J. Eric Uggen, of Vienna, VA; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Tony Gill, Eric Uggen, and Michel Gautier.
