Charles ''Dave'' Myers

Charles "Dave" Myers, age 50, of Forest Hill, MD passed away suddenly on July 18, 2018. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Cherie Anne (Strosnider) VonHaack and the late Charles David Myers. Mr. Myers is survived by his son, Michael Brandon Myers of Forest Hill; daughters, Emily and Amanda Lynn Myers both of Forest Hill; sister, Lisa Call of Bel Air; brother, Blake VonHaack of Bronx, NY; and his former wife, Jennifer LaPaglia of Forest Hill. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jon Brandon VonHaack.

Dave’s greatest joy in life was his children. He loved them with all of his heart, and was very, very proud of them. Together, they enjoyed all things outdoors, including camping and fishing. Sunday morning bowling was a family tradition, and the custom built bowling trophy that he created exchanged hands often. He was an avid baseball fan, and worked as an umpire in Harford and surrounding counties in his spare time. Dave had a heart of gold, and would do anything for anyone. His laugh was infectious, and he loved making people smile. He was a hard worker, successful entrepreneur, wonderful provider, and most importantly, an incredible father.

Visitation will be held under the caring guidance of the family owned and operated McComas Funeral Home, P.A., Bel Air, MD on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, from 2-4 & 6-7 pm followed by a service at 7, with Rev. Karin Walker officiating.
