Charles "Charlie" Robert Jenkins Jr.

Charles "Charlie" Robert Jenkins, Jr., age 76, of Bel Air, MD passed away on December 26, 2021 at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Charles and Frances (Marrocco) Jenkins, Sr. and husband of the late Deborah (Collevecchio) Jenkins. In addition, he was preceded in death by grandchildren Joshua Phelps and Amelia Milan.  

Charlie was the Assistant Director for the Baltimore Arena in the 1970-80’s. After retiring from Baltimore City, he became head of Baltimore County Public Schools Security, retiring for the second time in 2010.  Charlie was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church and Sons of Italy Harford County Lodge. He loved going to the racetrack, helping his friend who was a horse trainer.  He also enjoyed traveling with his wife, visiting many islands, Portugal and Italy. When the grandchildren came along, they became his world, never missing a game or concert.

Charlie is survived by his children, Charles Robert Jenkins III and his wife Michelle, Tracey Kahl and her husband George, and Mary Jenkins; stepdaughters, Lauren Milan and her husband Gregory, and Kristy Louvado and her husband Ivo; grandchildren, Aiden, Ethan, Luciano, Ivo, Jessica, Brandon and Harrison.
