Charles "Charlie" Marll

Charles "Charlie" Marll, age 93, of Joppa, Maryland passed away on August 24, 2020 at his home. Born in Joppa, Maryland, he was the son of George William and Mamie Ella (LaPontier) Marll and husband of almost 60 years to Marjorie Cora (Banks) Marll, they would have celebrated their 60th anniversary in November. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where he had served as an usher and helped with maintenance for many years. He retired in June 1993 from Edgewood Arsenal after 46 years of service. He was a family man, enjoyed taking care of the family farm, and in his younger years, he was an avid boater. He was a volunteer fireman with Joppa-Magnolia Fire Company.

In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by his daughter, Catherine F. Marll of Joppa.
