CHARLES “CHARLIE” L. COCKERHAM, age 66 of Ocala, FL, formerly of Bel Air, died on December 18, 2007 at Legacy Hospice House in Ocala, FL. Born in Churchville, MD, he was the son of the late Roy Bohnson and Evelyn Elizabeth Castelow Cockerham. He worked as a parts manager for Village Volvo. An avid fisherman and hunter, he was a lifetime member of both the North American Hunting Club and the NRA. He was a member of Churchville Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Cockerham is survived by his wife of 46 years, Carolyn Fender Cockerham of Ocala, FL; two daughters, Monica L. Kilburn and her husband, Michael, of Colora, MD, and Amanda B. George and her husband, Kerry, of Lebanon, TN; one brother, Paul Cockerham and his wife, Cora, of Aberdeen, MD; one sister, Nancy Sandmeier and her husband, Jerry, of Churchville, MD. Also survived by one grandson and his wife from Lebanon, TN and a step-grandson from Colora, MD. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Roy B. Cockerham Jr. and Richard Cockerham.
