CHARLES (BUBBY) DeHAVEN, SR., age 59, of Edgewood, died in Gilchrist Center of Greater Baltimore Medical Center on May 27, 2005. Born in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Charles Meridith and Thelma Marie VandMark DeHaven. He worked in food services. He was a loving husband and a devoted father. He loved everyone.
Mr. DeHaven is survived by his wife, Brenda Lee Taylor DeHaven; two sons, Charles DeHaven, Jr of Edgewood and Adam Clayton DeHaven of Edgewood; four daughters, Jennifer Lynn Slaughter of Edgewood, Jessica Scott of Edgewood, Heather Ann Scott of Baltimore, and Christina Marie DeHaven of Edgewood; three brothers, Larry DeHaven of Edgewood, Woody DeHaven of Edgewood, and Roger DeHaven of Pennsylvania; two sisters, Phyllis Jackson of Aberdeen and Carolyn Killinger of Edgewood; three grandchildren, Donna Samantha Slaughter, Escapontay Marshall Campbell, and Hymayo Monae Campbell, all of Edgewood. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Donna DeHaven.
