Charles Albert Johann

Charles Albert Johann, age 91, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on September 13, 2022 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center.

Born in Bronx, New York, he was the son of the late George and Charlotte (Heinbockle) Johann.

Charlie was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in the Korean War. He was a member of St. Margaret’s Catholic Church. Charlie loved all sports, especially softball. He loved to travel and enjoyed competing in the senior Olympics. Charlie loved his family very much and they will miss him dearly.

Charles is survived by his wife, Barbara Johann; two daughters, Patricia White, Mary Muehleib, and husband, Richard; son, Michael Johann and wife, Laurie; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital PO Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101, in memory of Charlie.
