CHARLES A. ECKLOFF, SR., 63, of Bel Air died at his home on December 9, 2002. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Millard and Laura Barret Eckloff. A Harford County resident for six years, he worked for Larry Hilte Construction for 35 years where he was a supervisor. He attended St. Margaret Catholic Church and was a past member of the Elks Lodge in Essex. He loved the game of golf. He was known as Pop Pop to all his children and grandchildren.
Mr. Eckloff is survived by his wife of 42 years, Shirley Ann Reichenbach Eckloff; two sons, Charles Allen Eckloff, Jr. of Marrietta, Georgia and Mark Eckloff of White Marsh; three daughters, Michele Liberatore of Forest Hill, Helena Finnerty of Abingdon, and Stephanie Roberts of Bel Air; four brothers, Buddy Eckloff, Teddy Eckloff, Gary Eckloff and Bobby Eckloff, all of Baltimore; two sisters, Shirley Turner and Betty Albi, both of Baltimore; and six grandchildren, Nicholas Eckloff, Jessica Liberatore, Vincenzo Liberatore, Zoe Eckloff, Patrick Finnerty and Alexander Roberts.
