CECILIA “CEIL” ANNA SEIBERT, age 84, of Forest Hill, MD, died on January 7, 2007, in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Omaha, NE, she was the daughter of the late Walter J. and Anna Buglewicz Norris and the wife of the late Charles H. Seibert. As a teenager, Ceil pitched for a minor league softball team in Nebraska that went on to win the State Championship in 1937. She was an avid bowler in the 50’s and 60’s, participating in league and tournament activities at the Harford Lanes in Aberdeen. During this time she also organized and taught bowling to the junior girls. For a time, she worked at the former WASA radio station in Havre de Grace, MD. She owned and operated the Coachman’s Inn in Bel Air in the 1970’s. She worked for the McDonald’s Corp for 26 years, most recently at the Plum Tree Road McDonald’s.
Mrs. Seibert is survived by one son, David C. Seibert and his wife Rowena M. of Churchville, MD; two daughters, Barbara A. Seibert and Beth Guthrie, both of Bel Air, MD; two brothers, Walter J. Norris, Jr. of Bend, OR, and Joseph Norris of Omaha, NE; six grandchildren, David C. Seibert and his wife Connie of Colora, MD, Kimberly Cover and her husband Erik of Churchville, MD, Carrie Cornwell of Abingdon, MD, Christopher Cornwell of Bel Air, MD, Erin Guthrie of Bel Air, MD, and Vincent Guthrie of Abingdon, MD; and six great grandchildren, Hannah and Craig Seibert of Colora, MD, Tyler, Katie and Spencer Cover of Churchville, MD, and A.J. Wagner of Bel Air, MD.
