Cecil Joseph Hawkins

CECIL JOSEPH HAWKINS, age 63, of Edgewood, MD, died on December 28, 2007 at his home. Born in Tams, WV, he was the son of the late David Lee and Jincy Elizabeth Comer Hawkins and husband, for 24 years, of the late Iva Patsy Hawkins. He worked for Bata Shoe Compay for over 35 years where he was a forklift operator. He enjoyed sitting on his porch watching wildlife and going out to eat. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting.

Mr. Hawkins is survived by a son, James A. Hawkins of Delta, PA; a daughter, Mary Jane Hawkins-Barry and her husband, Drew, of Bel Air, MD; one brother, James R. Hawkins and wife, Jeannie, of Bel Air, MD; four sisters, Linda S. Lennon and her husband, Gary, of Aberdeen, MD, Mary F. Garrett and her husband, Harry, of Big Island, VA, Shirley D. Turner of Aberdeen, MD, and Betty M. Mays and her husband, Larry, of Darlington, MD. Also survived by grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by a brother, Roger L. Hawkins.
