Cecil Goins

Cecil Goins, age 76, of Abingdon, MD, passed away on December 25, 2012 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Crumpler, NC, he was the son of the late Cissero Wilburn and Golda Mary Weaver Goins. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country during the Korean War. He was a resident of Harford County for 65 years and a lifelong member of the Havre de Grace Elks.

Mr. Goins is survived by his wife of 21 years, Jane Goins; daughters, Kim Anders of AL and Lisa Durhamn of WV; stepchildren, Jimmy Rasnake of Timonium, Shelly Parker of Rising Sun, Dawn Rector of WV and Lynn Herring of Havre de Grace; brothers, Cissero Goins of TX and Donnell Goins of Catonsville; 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
