Cecil E. Cornwell

October 11, 1919 — March 12, 2005

CECIL E. CORNWELL, age 85, of Bel Air, died in Perry Point Veterans Hospital, Perryville on March 12, 2005. Born in Lewisburg, West Virginia, he was the son of the late George Washington and Priscilla Scott Hankins Cornwell and the husband of the late Jeanette Allene Cox Cornwell. He had retired from Aberdeen Proving Ground where he worked as a small arms supervisor. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WW II. He was a member of the North Harford Fish and Game Association and the Bernard Tobin American Legion Post 128, Aberdeen.

Mr. Cornwell is survived by four daughters, Wanda K. Cornwell of Bel Air; Phyllis D. Palazzi of Bel Air; Annette J. Townsend of Havre de Grace; Lea A. Bull of Aberdeen; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was predeceased by one son, Gareth D. Cornwell.


Pallbearers will be: Bryan Bull, Paul Bull, Jr., Kevin Clark, Mark Starr, Norman Jones, Jr., William Yutzy, and Sean Bull.
