Catherine Marie Edwards

Catherine Marie Edwards, age 69, of Essex, MD passed away on February 8, 2016 at Franklin Square Hospital in Rosedale, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD she was the daughter of the late Lester Leroy Geesey and Mary Ann (Parr) Caswell and wife of the late John O. Edwards Jr. A homemaker, she enjoyed being a grandmother and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed baking and cooking, being with her friends, and attending Bible study. She was active in the Essex Coop and actively supported Children International and Appalachian Care Packages.

Mrs. Edwards is survived by her sons, John O. Edwards III and Robert S. Edwards both of Seattle, WA; daughters, Patricia A. Stinnett and Theresa M. Phillips both of Bel Air; brothers, Lester L. Geesey of Baltimore, Roy Caswell of Essex and Alfred Caswell of Essex; sisters, Mary Jo Schollian of Baltimore and Deborah Strong of Essex; and grandchildren, Phillip M. Stinnett, Paige M. Stinnett, Peyton M. Stinnett, Alexis T. Phillips, Kelly A. Phillips, John O. Edwards IV, Ashley Edwards and Jordan Edwards.
