Catherine Leah Maines

Catherine Leah Maines, 63, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on March 8, 2015 at her home. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth John Herbert and Thelma Ruth McGuire Herbert and wife of the late Robert Maines. She was a kind and generous person who was particularly concerned with the welfare of homeless and abused animals.

Mrs. Maines is survived by her sister, Patricia Loughran of New Orleans, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Christine Cessna.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Humane Society of Harford County, 2208 Connolly Road, Fallston, MD 21047 or an animal rescue of your choice.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
