Catherine "Laverne" Sieck

Catherine "LaVerne" Sieck, 77, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on January 29, 2015 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late William Arthur and Helen Bridget Burke Earnest. She was the world's greatest, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was extremely selfless, made everybody happy and spent her life taking care of everyone else. She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church and the Forever Young Club at Parkview Senior Apartments. She loved to do crafts and watch the Ravens games with her family.

Mrs. Sieck is survived by her husband of 58 years, Charles F. Sieck; son, Steven P. Sieck and wife, Ana, of Chesapeake Beach; daughters, Janet A. Lucas and husband, Thomas, of Bel Air and Sharon M. Sieck of Whiteford; brother, Edward Earnest of Leesburg, FL; sister, Essie Fletcher of Brooklyn Park; grandchildren, Mark Sieck, Melissa Sieck, Matthew Lucas, Julianne Lucas, Donna McElheny and husband Isaac and Eric Feurer; and great-grandchildren, Kylie and Micah McElheny, and Logan Green.
