Catherine Elsa Hunt

CATHERINE E. HUNT, age 96, of Cowen, WV, formerly of Abingdon, MD died on August 10, 2008 at her home. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Max Arthur and Frieda Elizabeth Sofia Kirschenhofer Seiler and wife of the late Frank Neal Hunt Jr. She retired after more than 40 years from her business as the realtor for C.E. Hunt Real Estate Company. She was an active and long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Joppa, MD. An avid bridge player she enjoyed playing with her many friends, traveling, working in her rose garden, reading and crocheting. She enjoyed her family and they remember many holidays with her delicious cooking.

Mrs. Hunt is survived by a daughter, Evelyn Catherine Slyder of Cowen, WV; a son, Robert Neal Hunt and his wife, Barbara, of Abingdon, MD; five grandchildren, Debora A. Calflesh of Delaware, Brenda L. Lewis and her husband, Wayne, of Abingdon, MD, Jeffrey N. Hunt and his wife, Sandy, of Edgewood, MD, James Ringsborg and his wife, Sharon, of West Virginia, and Richard Ringsborg and his wife, Nelda, of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands; five great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Jeffrey N. Hunt, Adam N. Hunt, Jim Ringsborg, Wayne Lewis and Christopher Wassif.
