Catherine Antoinette Nipwoda

Catherine Antoinette Nipwoda, age 82, of Bel Air, MD, died on September 25, 2009 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Frank J. and Susanna Clara Hock Foehrkolb and wife of 43 years to the late John Nicholas Nipwoda. She was retired from Aberdeen Proving Grounds and a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church since 1969. She loved spending time with her family, Stoney Creek, Ocean City, reading, shopping and meeting people. Her travels took her near and far from Hawaii to England and the Caribbean.

Mrs. Nipwoda is survived by her daughters, Mary Ann Becker and husband, Gene, of Hanover, MD and Mary Theresa Nipwoda of Bel Air, MD; brothers, Joseph Foehrkolb of Dundalk, MD and Andrew Foehrkolb of Edgewood, MD; and grandchildren, Michael, Lisa and Kristin Becker all of Baltimore, MD, Stephanie Riley of Bel Air, MD and Sarah Nipwoda of Bel Air, MD.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Francis Foehrkolb.
