Carroll R. Lemmon, age 84, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on October 29, 2012 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late William Frederick and Gertrude Astra Lemmon and husband, for 28 years, of the late L. Mary Lemmon. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was a very active member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He loved model railroads, enjoyed golfing and liked the Orioles. He retired from Baltimore City where he was a firefighter for 29 years.
Mr. Lemmon is survived by his wife of 19 years, Margaret M. Delbridge Lemmon of Bel Air, MD; son, Lindy Dell and wife, Janet, of Littlestown, PA; daughter, Patricia Chalk and husband, Steve, of Jarrettsville, MD; stepson, Larry Delbridge and wife, Linda, of Aberdeen, MD; brothers, C. Raymond Lemmon of Baltimore, MD, Melvin Lemmon of Parkville, MD, Walter Lemmon of Baltimore, MD; five grandchildren, Terri, Traci, Kevin, Brad and Megan; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and first wife, he was predeceased by his brothers, William F. Lemmon Jr. and John E. Lemmon, and sister, Gertrude L. Zentz.
