Carroll G. Barnes

Carroll G. Barnes, 77, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on May 31, 2015. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late George Reeves Barnes and Velma Marie Nelson Barnes. He was employed at BGE for 46 years and was a member of the Bel Air Kiwanis and a past member of the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Department. He loved family dinners, spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter, nieces and nephews, and granddogs, and enjoyed a good round of golf.

Mr. Barnes is survived by his wife of 56 years come August, Pat Barnes; daughters, Martha L. Knell and husband, Robert, of Street and Ann Blend and husband, Craig, of Jarrettsville; brother Keith Barnes and sister Sharon Watson, both of Bel Air; and granddaughter Jessica Knell.
