Carrie Alhimook

Carrie Alhimook, age 92, of Joppa, MD, passed away on September 9, 2013 at the Senator Bob Hooper House in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Hayes, NC, she was the daughter of the late Ambrose and Mary Anna Jones Lyles and wife of the late Walter P. Alhimook. She worked for Bata Shoe Company for 20 years and enjoyed going to Ocean City, MD. She also enjoyed shopping, reading, gardening and spending time with her granddogs Bingo and Saylor Girl.

Mrs. Alhimook is survived by her daughter, Gerry Spencer and husband, John, of Abingdon, MD. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, Herman, Garland, Walter and Lillard Liles.
