Carolyn Winterstein Fields, age 78, of Bel Air, MD passed away on May 16, 2013 at Senator Bob Hooper House in Forest Hill. Born in Rosedale, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Adam and Catherine Rebecca Burton Winterstein. She was the first office administrator at Harford Community College and an active member for 29 years of Oak Grove Baptist Church where she enjoyed being a part of the Living Christmas Tree and playing the hand bells. She loved playing the piano for the Fields Family Quartet, following the Oak Grove Quartet wherever they performed and working in her flower beds.
Mrs. Fields is survived by her husband of 58 years, Larry Dale Fields; sons, Daniel R. Fields Sr. of Abingdon and Michael L. Fields of Essex; daughters, Debra Fields Anderson of Bel Air and Judy Fields Taylor of Elkton; sisters, Barbara Walker of Pennsylvania and Linda Gogolin of South Dakota; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were DJ, Josh and Shane Fields, Brian and Kyle Anderson and Mike Fields.
