Carolyn V. Romaniello

Carolyn V. Romaniello, age 72, of Conowingo, MD passed away on June 18, 2019 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Ellis and Doris (Wheat) Nelson. She was a former member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church and was a member of OSIA (Order of Sons and Daughter of Italy in America) where she served as a youth leader in the organization. She loved her hummingbirds, garden, shopping in Lancaster, and anything pertaining to the Amish. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and always made sure everyone else was taken care of, and never thought of herself.

Mrs. Romaniello is survived by her husband of 53 years, Anthony J. Romaniello Jr.; daughters, Tina (Tony) DiJulio of Kingsville and Kimberly (Keith) Heidel of Abingdon; granddaughters, Kara Heidel and Kaitlyn Heidel; grandsons, T.J. DiJulio, Kyle Heidel and Nicholas DiJulio; and brothers, Robert Heitzer, John Heitzer, Daniel Heitzer and Bernard Nelson.
