Carolyn E. Koerber

Carolyn E. Koerber, age 85, of Phoenix, Maryland passed away on December 18, 2020 at her home. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of Wilford C. and Catherine E. Baldwin nee Ellenberger and wife of the late Wesley G. Koerber. She was an active member of St John's Catholic Church. Carolyn enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid reader, a huge Orioles fan, loved dancing, gardening, cooking, and mind stimulating activities. She enjoyed puzzles and having the pleasure of seeing the bigger picture afterwards. She was very close to her sister Iris, her nieces Christina and Anna, and nephew John. She enjoyed the company of her friend Mary Chatterton, partner in crime and puzzles.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Wesley S. Koerber and his wife, Cyndi; daughter, Cathy A. Chatterton and her husband, Brad; three grandchildren, Lindsey (Amanda) Koerber, Caitlin (Daniel) Harvey, and Eric Koerber; great-grandchildren, Christian and Elizabeth Scarff, Lilly and Juli Harvey, and Alex Abney.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Iris Grace Tolle.
