Carolyn Ann Snee

Carolyn Ann Snee, 76, of Joppatowne, MD departed this life on September 9, 2015. Born in Baltimore, MD on January 31, 1939 she was the daughter of the late George Insley and Catherine (Snack) Hymiller and wife of the late Arthur D. Snee. Carolyn grew up in Baltimore and graduated from The Catholic High School of Baltimore. On June 22, 1957 she married Arthur Daniel Snee of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. After being stationed in El Paso Texas from 1958-59 for Art's U.S. Army obligation, Carolyn and Art settled in Dundalk, Maryland and started a family. In 1974, they relocated to Joppatowne, Maryland where she lived there for 41 years. Carolyn was an active member of Holy Spirit Church, Joppatowne Garden Club, Red Hat Ladies, and Bunco group. In addition to raising a large family, Carolyn worked at Holy Spirit Church, Control Data, as a Harford County Real Estate Agent, and at Upper Chesapeake Hospital.

Mrs. Snee is survived by her sons, Daniel J. Snee of Bel Air and David J. Snee of Joppatowne; daughters, Daryl J. Harrington of Kingsville, Donna J. Wheeler of Essex, Debra J. Herzog of Abingdon, Dana J. Ackenhausen of Owasso, OK and Diane J. Smith of Joppatowne; grandchildren, Danny, Susie, Catie, Maria, Colleen, Kelsey, Robert, Stuart, Mark, Melissa, Amanda, Nathan, Nolan, Natalie, Josh and Julie; and great-grandchildren, Alyna, Madison, Austin, Mark, Eli, and many life-long friends.
