Carol Sue Mabe

CAROL I. MABE, age 71, of Edgewood, MD, died on November 13, 2006 at her home. Born in Sparta, NC, she was the daughter of the late Albert John and Mary Rose Taylor Irwin. She was employed with the Harford County Government and retired after 25 years of service. She was a member of the Elks Lodge Abingdon 2354. She enjoyed reading, flower gardening, bird watching and spending time with her dog Queenie.

Mrs. Mabe is survived by her husband of 52 years, Edwin M. Mabe of Edgewood, MD; one son, Steven K. Mabe of Edgewood, MD; two daughters, Nancy E. Hopkins of White Marsh, MD and Pamela K. Vincenti of Edgewood, MD; six grandchildren, Kevin B. Landals of White Marsh, MD, Daniel K. Mabe, Robert A. Seiser II, Derrick D. Rembold all of Edgewood, MD, Toby Vincenti of Aberdeen, MD and Matthew Vincenti of Edgewood, MD; mother-in-law, Thelma L. Mabe of Sparta, NC; a cousin, Linda Absher of Sparta, NC; and her long time friend, Joan Opitz of Abingdon, MD.
