Carol Lynn Hillen

Carol Lynn Hillen, age 53, of Edgewood, MD, passed away on April 14, 2014 at Gilchrist Hospice in Towson. Born in Detroit, MI, she is the daughter of the late Elmer Frederick and Ruth Ann Holycross Hillen. A chemical Engineer for the U.S. Army Department of Defense, she fostered 39 Shepherds through All Shepherd Rescue which was a huge part of her life. Growing up in Detroit, she loved Pepsi, Bob Seger, John Denver and her 1970 Cuda. She was a big Parrot Head and world traveler.

Ms. Hillen is survived by her son, Sean Gaglione of Edgewood; brothers, Raymond Hillen of Tucson, AZ and Fred Hillen of Fargo, ND; and longtime companion, Skip Richardson of Edgewood, MD. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Catherine Mayer.
