Carol Ann Block (Nee Frisby)

Carol Ann Block (nee Frisby), age 60, of Edgewood, MD, passed away on November 21, 2011 at her home. Born in Robbinsville, NC, she is the daughter of Dorothy Jane Walters (nee Sherrill) of Rockford, TN and the late J.C. Frisby. A homemaker for most of her life, she was a participating member of Grace Assembly of God and also volunteered at the local Public Library. She liked to read, enjoyed baking, loved her children and grandchildren and was a very dear person who gave of herself until the very end.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, John H. Block Jr., son, Jayson C. Block and his wife, Megan May Block, and daughter, Joy-Cheri Block all of Edgewood, MD; sisters, Cheryl Jean Mares of Pleasanton, CA and Joyce Claire Potochney of Honokaa, HI; and grandchildren, Jonathan and Daniel Block.
