Carmen Rose Scott (Kruger), age 74, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, a resident of Bel Air, Maryland, peacefully passed away on January 18, 2024. Carmen was born in Washington DC on December 5, 1949.
She grew up in the DC area with her late mother, Marian Schwab and sisters, Brenda and Sali. She was affectionately nicknamed “Mousie” and known to be ever sweet and kind to those around her.
As a young woman, Carmen embarked on a remarkable journey as a flight attendant with Pan Am, whom she worked for 20 years, exploring the world and creating unforgettable experiences. She also enjoyed the arts and had a talent for drawing and painting as well as dance.
She had a passion for gardening and cooking and finding joy in the simple pleasures of life. Carmen was a dedicated wife and mother who adored her family, especially her grandchildren, Olivia, Brody, Elena, and Blair.
Carmen is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, William (Bill) Scott, and their children: Son, Bradley Scott & his wife (Meagan Scott) and their daughters (Olivia & Elena), Daughter, Elizabeth (Beth) Andrews & her husband (Brian Andrews) and their children (Brody & Blair) and son, Adam Scott. She also leaves behind her sisters, Sali Widener and Brenda Lehner, and sister-in-law, Trudy Clark. Carmen was predeceased by her parents, Luis Kruger & Marian Schwab and brothers-in-law, Ernst Lehner and Jack Widener. She will be forever loved and remembered by all those close to her.
