CARL THOMAS HARPER, age 65, of Joppa, MD, died on September 7, 2006, at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Born in Broken Arrow, OK, he was the son of Rosemary Booze Hittle of Okeechobee, FL and the late Johnnie Harper. Mr. Harper was a parts supervisor for Baltimore Gas and Electric. He taught motorcycle safety at Harford Community College and Cecil Community College for the past four years, and was a member of the Maryland Retreads Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed fixing cars and spending time with family at cookouts and he liked helping people. He was a veteran and served in the U. S. Army.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Harper is survived by his wife, Joan Rohrback Harper of Joppa, MD; two sons, Brian Harper of Edgewood, MD and Christopher Harper of Joppatowne, MD; two daughters, Joyce Gardner of Rising Sun, MD and Brenda Knickman of Linthicum Heights, MD; one sister, Ann Bregler of Edgewood, MD; one step-sister, Linda Bast of Okeechobee, FL; ten grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
