Carl L. Linza, 87, of Bel Air, MD passed away on October 21, 2017 at Calvert Manor Nursing Home in Rising Sun, MD. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of Louis Linza and Julia (Worholick) Carpenter and was the husband of the late Dorothy Linza (nee Pipkin) whom he married in 1948. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he retired in 1967 after 20 years of service to his country. A Master Craftsman of Photography, he was the owner of Bel Air Studio Photography. He was a gunsmith, had his own gun shop, and was a Master Marksman of Pistol and Rifle. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Mr. Linza is survived by his children, Larry Wayne Linza of Kincheloe, MI, Teri Larkin of Little Elm, TX and Janis Thompson of Conowingo; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
