Carl L. Hamby

Carl L. Hamby, age 81, of Havre de Grace, MD, formerly of Bel Air, passed away on May 7, 2012 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, MD. Born in Creswell, MD, he was the son of the late Edward Webster Hamby and Nora Gross. He retired after 35 years from APG-Edgewood Area where he worked as an Equipment Manual Specialist. He was a 1948 graduate of Bel Air High School and enjoyed crabbing, boating and working in his yard.

Mr. Hamby is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lucile K. Hamby (nee Dalton) of Havre de Grace, MD; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers will be John J. Miner, Howard K. O'Neill, Mark S. O'Neill, Steven A. Bowers, Kenneth Hamby and William Heckman.
