Carl Edward Johnson, Sr.

Carl Edward Johnson, Sr., age 86, of Stewartstown, Pennsylvania passed away on May 30, 2023 at his home. Born in Abingdon, Maryland, he was the son of Clarence “Ray” and Alma (Wood) Johnson. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he served for four years, spending time in England. He retired as a Captain with the APG Fire Department and was a member of Edgewood Assembly of God Church. Carl loved everything to do with his horses and farm. He also enjoyed traveling to many foreign countries and throughout the United States with his wife Doris.
      
Carl is survived by his wife Doris Johnson; sons, Carl Edward Johnson Jr. and Sean (Karen) Johnson; grandchildren, Luke (Jessica) Johnson, Caleb Johnson, Zack Johnson and Tori Johnson; and great grandchildren, Raymond Johnson, Benjamin Johnson and Rowan Johnson.
 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Mark Johnson and siblings, Elizabeth Carr, Frances Basl, Robert, Thomas and Larry Johnson.
