Carl Durand Michael

CARL DURAND MICHAEL, age 72, of Bel Air, died in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on August 30, 2004. Born in Forest Hill, he was the son of the late Charles Durand and Anna Lucille Harkins Michael. A lifelong resident of Harford County, he worked for C&P Telephone Company for 35 years as a trouble technician. He was an avid farmer who loved the land and knew everything about cows. He enjoyed talking with friends about farming and loved horseracing. He loved his grandchildren. He served in the Army during the Vietnam Conflict.

Mr. Michael is survived by his wife of 49 years, Gloria Geraldine Miller Michael; a son, Gary Michael of Bel Air; two daughters, Diane Michael of Bel Air; and Renn Koppelman of Jarrettsville; a sister, Dorothy Martin of Bel Air; and two grandchildren, Courtney Michael of Bel Air and Cody Koppelman of Jarrettsville.
