Calvin Eugene Weaver

Calvin Eugene Weaver, age 94, of Churchville, Maryland, passed away on October 22, 2024, at Forest Hill Heights in Forest Hill, Maryland. Born to Everett and Elizabeth (McNutt) Weaver, he was the beloved husband of Doris (Powers) Weaver, with whom he shared 27 years of marriage.

A veteran of the U.S. Army, Gene had a deep passion for antique cars, particularly his cherished 1954 Chevy, which he spent countless hours working on. His mechanical talents extended beyond cars, as he was incredibly handy and enjoyed building homes. Gene also had a unique skill for crafting handmade clocks, gifting many to loved ones, leaving behind timeless treasures for those fortunate enough to receive one.

In addition to his skills with his hands, Gene was an avid photographer. He had a natural talent for capturing candid moments, particularly of people, and his photographs were cherished by many.

Calvin is survived by his loving wife, Doris; four nieces, Jeanne, Mary, Debbie, and Ann; and two nephews, David and Robbie. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Ella Marie Esmond, and his niece, Cathy.
