Calvin Gordon Moler of Parkville, MD died on July 9, 2016 at the age of 92 at Oak Crest Village in Parkville, MD. Born to Lloyd Griffith and Maggie (Drager) Moler, he was the husband of the late Connie Wolverton Moler. A veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corp, he served our country during WWII as a combat veteran in the European Theatre as part of a B24 bomber crew. After the war he earned a Bachelor's degree in engineering and worked in the engineering field until his retirement. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bel Air for 50 years and sang in the church choir for 46 years. He loved wood working, painting, photography, golf and playing Bridge.
Survivors include his daughters, Carol Friend and husband Mark of Sykesville and Deborah Jenkins and husband David of Ocean, NJ; son, Lee Moler of Sykesville; grandchildren, Jennifer Fitzgerald, David Jenkins, Stephanie Moler, Caitlin McAfee, Matthew Zemanick, Amy Zemanick and three great grandchildren; Katie and Jack Fitzgerald, and David Jenkins. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Merle Stallings and Margaret Merriam.
