C. Bill Ash, Sr.

C. BILL ASH, SR., age 74, of Joppa, died in Perry Point VA Hospital on March 6, 2004. Born in Alma, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Homer Ash and Mildred Helen Montgomery Stevens. He worked as a construction foreman. A resident of Harford County for 46 years, he enjoyed his grandchildren, gardening and the company of his pet dog, “Ladybird”. He collected NASCAR Memorabilia and was a life-long NASCAR fan. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Ash is survived by one son, C. Bill Ash, Jr. and his wife, Susan of Parkton; three daughters, Janice Ash-Henry and her husband, Craig of Joppa; Jeanette Ash Oliver and her husband, Bob of Joppa; Joyce Ash Carpenter and her husband, Randy of Mooresburg, Tennessee; and seven grandchildren.
