Bud Newton

BUD NEWTON, age 71, of Joppa, MD, died on March 20, 2007 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, MD. Born in Graham, NC, he was the son of the late Deacatur Waddel Newton Sr. and the late Robbie Othela Blackwelder Newton. A Harford county resident for 22 years, he worked in distribution as a warehouse supervisor. He served in the Army National Guard of Maryland as well as the Army Reserve. He was a “film buff”, a football fan and had an interest in shooting.

Mr. Newton is survived by his wife, of 48 years, Barbara J. Brooks Newton, of Joppa, MD; a son, Michael D. Newton of Seattle, WA; a daughter, Michelle N. Bruni and her husband, Eric J. Bruni, of Edgewood, MD; and one grandson, Daniel M. Bruni of Edgewood, MD.
