Bruce N. Brown

September 17, 1920 — April 25, 2008

BRUCE N. BROWN, age 87, of Joppa, MD, died on April 25, 2008 at Stella Maris in Timonium, MD. Born in Kansas City, MO, he was the son of the late Bruce J. and Ursula M. Wild Brown and husband, since 1947, of the late Isabelle Winning Kilgore Brown. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he was a Captain in the 94th Fighter Squadron during WWII. He worked at Martin Marietta on the Gemini and the Mercury projects, and also at APG in Ballistic Research. He was a tax preparer and enjoyed following the stock market, gardening, puzzles, bowling, and traveling. He was a former President of the Optimist Club.

Mr. Brown is survived by a brother, Dale H. Brown and his wife, Joan, of Mechanicsville, NY; and nieces and nephews, Jeanne Bayer of Joppa, MD, Maidee Spencer and her husband, James, of Atlanta, GA, Bruce Allen Kerr and his wife, Kim, of Stratham, NH, Susan Merrill and her husband, Frank, of Chichester, NH, and Mark Brown of Arizona.

Pallbearers will be Jesse Bane, Bob Peters, Rob Peters, Lee Peters, Mark Schultz, and Bert Shek.
