Brigitte ''Kitty'' Felts

Brigitte "Kitty" Felts, age 82, of Aberdeen, MD passed away on July 29, 2017 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Germany, she was the daughter of Erwin Nelson and Barbara Josephine (Burger) Sokol. Kitty Felts was married to Richard H. Felts Sr., SGM U.S. Army Retired, for 48 yrs. She was a dedicated Army Wife and a loving and forgiving mother. One of her greatest accomplishments and proudest moments was becoming a Citizen of the United States on July 8, 1966.
She had several hobbies that she enjoyed. She loved to garden and beautify her home, crochet, and complete unique jigsaw puzzles. In addition to her love of spending time with family and friends, she enjoyed the companionship of her pet parakeet, "Angel."

Mrs. Felts is survived by daughters, Kathy (Harvey) Cage of Rising Sun and Judy (William) A. Schnake of Lisle, IL; sons, Ed (Debbie) F. Felts of Aberdeen, Richard (Pat) H. Felts, Jr. of Aberdeen, Bruce (Rosemary) D. Felts of Aberdeen and Jeff (Joan) Felts of Abingdon; sister, Roswitha Henney of Portland, OR; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and a daughter, Evelyn Ann Burger who was adopted by a loving family.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Wilhelm Burger and Kurt Burger.

A private family service will be held at Arlington National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
