Booker Deboard, Jr.

September 18, 1930 — October 3, 2005

BOOKER DeBOARD, JR., age 75, of Delta, Pa., formerly of Harford County, died at his home on October 3, 2005. Born in Forest Hill, he was the son of the late Booker Lee, Sr. and Virginia Anna Grace DeBoard. A self-employed painter, he had painted several offices and businesses in the Bel Air area. He also worked for a tree trimmer for many years. He was a member of Bel Forest Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. DeBoard is survived by his wife of 53 years, Doris L. Walter DeBoard; two sons, Alvin L. DeBoard of Delta, Pennsylvania and Joseph D. DeBoard of Dublin; three daughters, Patricia A. Coleman of Bel Air, Rita C. Ravenscraft of Silver Springs, Florida, and Dona L. Coale of Aberdeen; a brother, Raymond DeBoard of Aberdeen; two sisters, Myrtle F. Barben of Elkton and Roby Rockwell of Havre de Grace; 13 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Alan L. DeBoard.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons; Jerry Coleman, Robert Lins, Joshua DeBoard, Larry Coale, David DeBoard, and Christopher DeBoard.
