Bonnie Lee Kissner

May 16, 1943 — November 15, 2017

Bonnie Lee Kissner, age 74, of Forest Hill, MD passed away on November 15, 2017 at her home. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of Edward Earl and Ruby May (Geesey) Acree. She was a member of the Flying Geese Quilt Guild, Maryland State USBC Hall of Fame, Harford County USBC Hall of Fame, and Wednesday Bee at St. Albans Church. She loved to quilt, read, bowl, and watch "stories" on TV. She loved her grandchildren; they were the light of her life! She spent many years volunteering and mentoring people through bowling. She was past president of the Maryland State Bowling Association, and was the first president when the men and women's bowling association’s were combined. She was a Brownie leader when her children were young.

Mrs. Kissner is survived by her husband of 55 years, Mel F. Kissner Sr.; two daughters, Dawn (Arthur) Kissner DeCarlo of Vestavia Hills, AL and Nicole (Damon) Stowell of Baltimore; son, M. Frank (Cindy) Kissner, Jr. of Bel Air; sister, Elaine Devin of Kingston, OK; three brothers, Thomas Acree of Jarrettsville, Glenn Acree of Louisville, KY and Charles Acree of Las Vegas, NV; six grandchildren, Ryan Kissner of Baltimore, Daniel Kissner of Twenty Nine Palms, CA, Andrew Kissner of Myrtle Beach, SC, Bonnie DeCarlo of Vestavia Hills, AL, Julia DeCarlo of Vestavia Hills, AL and Kyle Campbell of Street.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Acree.
