Bonnie Basener

BONNIE BASENER, age 33, of Germantown, MD, died on July 7, 2008, at the home of her parents after a five year battle with breast cancer. Born in Harvey, IL, she was the daughter of Ronald and Anne Schulcz Basener of Bel Air, MD. She grew up in Harford County and graduated from The John Carroll School in 1993. She graduated cum laude from Loyola College in 1997 where she was a member of the Beta Alpha Psi National Accounting Fraternity and Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honor Society. She earned her CPA, and then received her MBA from the University of Maryland in 2002. During undergraduate and graduate school she studied in Europe, including Rotterdam, Netherlands, and Manchester, England. She has worked at Comcast since 2002, most recently as a Finance Manager. She enjoyed skiing, golfing, reading, traveling, eating ice cream at Bloom's Broom Dairy, and going to the beach.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Brian R. Basener and Stephen J. Basener, both of Bel Air, MD; and her dear friend, Tom A. Minto.
