Bonita Jo Smallwood, age 61, of Darlington, MD, passed away on November 11, 2012 at her home. Born in Bangor, ME, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Lanear and Eva Mae Royal Hunt. She worked as a coffee hostess at Wawa where if she took a day off her customers always asked for her. She was very straight forward and had a big heart and was a "grandmother" to her grandnephew, Braden N. Hunt Jr. She loved to cook and made the best Jello cake and cowboy beans.
Mrs. Smallwood is survived by her husband, Bruce Smallwood of Darlington, MD; brothers, Phillip Hunt of Carmel, ME and John Hunt of Old Towne, ME; nephew, Braden N. Hunt Sr. and other numerous nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters-in-laws. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brothers, Lyle and Kenneth Hunt, and sisters, Judith Grinnell and Gloria Jean Nash.
